This design was developed for an Egyptian company seeking to rebrand its product range. Georg Moritz Ebers (1 March 1837–7 August 1898) was a German Egyptologist and novelist who discovered Egyptian medical papyrus, from ca. 1550 BCE, in Luxor (Thebes) in the winter of 1873–74. The silhouette logo mark is developed from available etchings of Ebers. Combined with a retro-esque font, the aim was to be evocative of classical 19th century labeling.

The logo mark can work in positive (black on white) or negative (white on black). The aim was to develop a mark with distinctive beauty, one capable of becoming known and well recognised.
